Snow Day!

I recently went to Idaho to visit my sister in law. She is a photographer. We laughed about how she hadn't taken my picture in years! So we went out into the 13 degree weather and took photos before we froze. We literally sat in the heated car, leaped out, snapped shots, and jumped back in the car shivering and cracking up! It was so much fun!

New Shop Location!

Lynn's Rags is now in another local San Diego shop. Fables by Barrie ordered some fun dresses to compliment her adorable swimwear line. When I saw the shop I died! It is so girly and fun. She even had my fantasy of a sewing room in the back!

Fashion Sense

Working from home can really affect my attire. I often wear pajamas all day long. Unless I have to go to the post office, or take my son to school, its usually a no makeup, sweatpants day. So I am trying to re kindle my love of fashion in my own life. I have a closet full of clothes, and I am attempting to wear them. My own personal favorite blogs, are those that share what they themselves wear. So every week I will show you my favorite outfits.

This is a vintage red square dancing dress from the thrift store. I love the ruffles. It had a panel of fabric on the bust that I cut off. Making the dress more low cut. I Paired it with black and white heels. Sparkle bow from my Lynn's Rags shop.

Creepy Crawlers!

Owen and I are enjoying our weekend. He got Creeeepy Craaawlers from his pal Charisa. He was so excited that I had to drop everything to help him make some bugs. This thing reminds me of the male version of an easy bake oven. It was so fun!

Spring Shoot

I had a wonderful photo shoot yesterday. Sheri and I teamed up with Morgan Gates, and Quinn Kerrigan for professional hair and makeup. Then we got 3 awesome models Bethany, Meg, and Maggie. We decided to do a spring shoot in reconstructed vintage nighties (Lynn's Rags), in a bedroom scene.
It was such a great day, with great people. Its such a great feeling to turn an idea into a beautiful photograph. Here are some behind the scenes pics, while we wait for the real ones!
