Fun Reconstruction

These are 2 mini dresses I made from a vintage prom dress. It was a long gown to the floor. I fell in love with the ruffles. I was able to make 2 short party dresses from the original. I just love it! I think I should start taking before and after photos of my reconstruction projects.....

Wedding Style

This past summer I collaberated on a unique circus style wedding shoot (Tangerine Tree Photography ). I designed the wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. The adorable handmade hair accessories ( RadoKri Fashion Accessories) looked amazing. Makeup made to match every dress (MakeupByRD{at}gmail.com). Hair done by the amazing Quinn Kerrigan for Hair Drezzers On Fire. Stationary and paper art by Haven Page Design.
It was so much fun getting together with my talented friends to create such beautiful photos. We are getting together soon to do a girly Spring Time shoot next. Stay tuned......

What I put on

I dug up some more old photos. Sheri took these retro style pictures of me 2 years ago. My hair was alot shorter and darker. Need to do some recent outfit pics soon!

Family Photos

So, my boyfriend Nick, Owen, and I decided to do a little photo shoot for our Christmas card this year. It was the first time I ever did this with a boyfriend. So it was a big deal to me. We just went around La Mesa and played in front of the camera. I loved the pictures so much! Here are some of my favorites.

Music Matters Circa 2006

Once upon a time there was a local San Diego publication called Music Matters. I was lucky enough to have a four page spread. I was going through the archives and forgot how much I loved these pictures. The model is one of my best Girl friends, Alissa whom I have known since elementary school. Enjoy!

Mustard Photo Shoot

Sheri and I wanted to change it up this month. We decided to change our regular shoot location to my boyfriends garage. We got this 70s mustard fabric and hung it like a curtain from the ceiling. We also loved the concrete floor. Here are some behind the scenes photos of our night.

Garment District Field trip

I had such a productive week. I threw my momma in the car and drove to the L.A. garment district. I was out of so much sewing supplies, and I couldn't take it anymore. I found some great deals and spent half the amount of money I was estimating. That was a pleasant surprise. I love it when my mom comes along. She is hilarious and a big help. We stocked up on thread, elastic, fabric, and jewelry. I should be good for several months!

Girl Night

What I wore to the cinema......

I had a little girl night last week. The female festivities consisted of seeing a movie called, " Blue Valentine." I love Ryan Gosling and will see anything with him in it. It was a good movie, but very sad. We all went home and smooched our loved ones. There is nothing better than hanging with your sisters during a long hard work week. Thanks ladies. I love you!

Street Style

I would like to thank the lovely Jenna & Amanda for sending me a Lynn's Rags photo! Jenna is wearing a Star Wars baby doll dress. She said, "The dress was absolutely lovely. I got so many compliments on it."

Miss Amanda sent me a New Years eve photo wearing a vintage Lynn's Rags silver sequin blouse.
Thank you so much. Ladies please keep sending me photos!

Bows!

I adore Bows!

I adore bows. Snap a bow on anything and chances are I will want it. I love / hate how trendy they are right now. Once upon a time it was hard to find bow clothes, (so I had to make them myself), now they are everywhere.

Memory Lane

This is a photo shoot I did with Tangerine Tree Photography in 2009.
We wanted to do a shoot with one model, in different city locations. This is still one of my favorite shoots ever. Not only do I love how the photos turned out, but me, Bethany (model), Sheri (photographer), Quinn (hairstylist), and Morgan (mua) had so much fun that day.
