Fun Finds

I had a wonderful weekend! I went to Garage Sales bright and early with my man. We both found lots of goodies for just a few bucks. I always prefer to sleep in rather than get up early to drive around yard sales, but once I find my first treasure of the day I'm hooked!

The Loft

My pal Holly and I went on a fun little adventure the other day. Holly's sister works in the costume department of a local theater company. We got to go up in the costume loft and look around. It was overwhelming! Clothes and costumes from every time period. Racks stacked up to the ceiling. Bins of shoes, gloves, hats, and purses. I wanted to go shopping, but sadly I could only look at the vintage goodies. However, I hear that they rent their costumes for a small fee....... I may have to do that.

When I was a young high school student, I had 2 style icons that I adored and emulated.
I was in love with Drew Barrymore, and Courtney Love. These women are why I was a short haired, bleach blonde, vintage clothes wearing girl. Even now, looking back at these photos I get inspired! Who did you love in your younger days?
